Hello and thank you for visiting me here.

Yoga has been a massive part of my life since my early twenties and it is my passion to share this with others. I have previously worked both in science and finance areas of the corporate world. Becoming very disillusioned with this life, 12 years ago I decided after having my second child to follow my calling to become a yoga teacher. I have found being a mother is the most amazing journey and the biggest learning curve! I believe that the twists and turns of my life journey has provided me with a unique perspective and insight on how to approach teaching Yoga...from the get go I knew that I wanted to guide other women through pregnancy, postnatally and beyond.

I believe that Yoga can be practiced by anyone if they want to, that every person is an individual and that the one size fits all model of most yoga classes does not suit. I have noted over the years that most women don't want to do fthe fancy acrobatic poses, they just want a safe supportive space for themselves to slow down, rest and relax. My style of yoga helps women realise that they have the tools within them to manage whatever life stage they are at whether this is during pregnancy, postnatally, throughout motherhood or even later on in life as they approach menopause.

The way I teach has a positive and grounded approach that is rooted in Yoga Philosophy allowing women to have plenty of space to explore, listen to their body, intuition and energy levels on that day, making good choices about how they want to move. This results in true changes allowing women to connect to themselves, to others and to the world. with more peace, stillness and grace in their daily lives off the mat.

My classes are also community focussed with many of my clients returning with their second and third babies. As the saying goes it takes a village to raise a child and this is still very important today even though we are very much disconnected from this concept in modern day life. Women need to be together to share wisdom, support one another and value their experiences so that hopefully these learnings can be passed down to the next generation.
